Bogor, 18 January 2026 — SIG once again shows its commitment to maintaining the quality and competence of its testing services by successfully renewing its testing laboratory accreditation from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) of BSN. This accreditation is valid until 17 January 2031 and is granted based on the consistent implementation of the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard.
Through this renewal, SIG now has more than 4,500 accredited parameters, making it one of Indonesia’s independent testing laboratories with the widest scope of accreditation. These parameters cover various testing fields, including food, water, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, agriculture, medical devices, biology, chemistry, and genetically modified organism (GMO) products. The accredited scope is spread across several SIG laboratories operating in multiple locations.
This achievement reflects SIG’s ability to meet technical requirements, ensure reliable testing methods, and maintain a consistent quality management system in line with international (ISO) standards. With its broad accredited scope, SIG is expected to provide testing services that are accurate, reliable, and recognized both nationally and internationally.
SIG management stated that this accreditation renewal is the result of continuous commitment to service quality improvement, investment in laboratory technology, and strengthening human resource competencies.
