Efficacy Test
The efficacy test is conducted to determine the effectiveness of the sample or product against the targeted function. Efficacy testing on pesticide products focuses on two subjects: applicants treated with pesticides and target organisms. In addition, the mechanism or method of working towards the target also needs to be stated for product administration purposes.
How SIG can help
SIG Laboratory conducts efficacy tests for pesticide product matrices following the provisions stipulated in the regulations as an accredited pesticide product efficacy testing institution/laboratory.
Method of Analysis
We use the standard method of efficacy testing as determined by the Director-General on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture.
