Antimicrobial Test AOAC Method
AOAC 961.02 is an applicable test method for evaluating the effectiveness of a disinfectant on hard and non-porous surfaces and environmental areas. This method is very sensitive and must be carried out in a sufficient area to obtain good results.

Method of Analysis
The method used in the analysis of antimicrobials in the AOAC method is surface challenge testing.
This method is suitable for disinfectants that do not require dilution and are designed for aerosol or spray applications. The method used is semi-quantitative.
