Microbiology Laboratory
SIG Microbiology Laboratory is a laboratory that has supporting facilities for performing culture, examination, and testing microscopic bacteria, molds, and yeasts.
The tests carried out in the microbiology laboratory include the Total Plate Number, Escherichia coli, Coliform, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, and other bacteria commonly found in food.
Besides bacterial testing in food, the SIG microbiology laboratory also facilitates testing related to disinfectants, antimicrobial/antiseptic products, pharmaceutical ingredients and drugs, medical devices, and masks.
