SIG Strengthens Its Role in HIPELKI for the Advancement of Indonesia’s Medical Device Ecosystem

SIG has strengthened its commitment to supporting the development of the national medical device ecosystem (Alkes) by sponsoring the first National Working Meeting (Rakernas I) of the Indonesian Medical Device Ecosystem Development Association (HIPELKI). The event, held at Politeknik Kesehatan Jakarta III in Jatiwarna, Bekasi, carried the theme: “Accelerating the Development of a Sustainable Medical Device Ecosystem Towards Golden Indonesia 2045.”

During the event, SIG actively contributed strategic ideas to enhance HIPELKI’s work programs for the coming year. This involvement underscores the company’s dedication to fostering the sustainable growth of Indonesia’s medical device industry.

Focus on Supporting Economic Growth Targets

Rakernas I HIPELKI addressed key challenges hindering the progress of the national medical device industry. HIPELKI Chairman, Dr. Randy H. Teguh, emphasized the association’s commitment to formulating strategic measures that align with government objectives to overcome these challenges.

“HIPELKI is determined to support the target of achieving an 8% annual economic growth rate, as envisioned by President Prabowo Subianto,” said Dr. Randy.
