Pesticide Quality Test
Description
Pesticide products contain at least one active ingredient and other intentionally added inert ingredients. The active ingredient, usually the only component of the formulation listed on the pesticide label, is biologically and chemically active against a target pest, be it an insect, weed, or fungus.
Besides providing some benefits, pesticides can also negatively impact if they are not managed properly and wisely. Pesticides must be registered and obtain permission from the Ministry of Agriculture Republic Indonesia, have labels/packaging following the applicable regulations, and the quality must comply with the tolerance limits.
Aside from the active ingredients of pesticides determination, examination related chemical tests and physical tests are also needed to test the quality of pesticides.
