Jakarta, March 27, 2025 – On this occasion, SIG responded to the invitation from BSN KAN to have a direct audience with Dr. Agustinus Praba Drijarkara, Director of Laboratory Accreditation, and his team. SIG was represented by Mr. Adi Mulyadi, QA Manager, and Mr. Moch. Fajar, Marketing Assistant Manager, at the BSN building located at Jl. Kuningan Barat Raya No. 01A, Kuningan, DKI Jakarta. The audience went well, where SIG, as an independent SNI ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, was given the opportunity to share the dynamics of laboratory testing, which in fact has been increasing. This positive trend comes not only from the industry but also from individual self-testing due to growing public awareness of the role of LPK (Conformity Assessment Bodies).
During the meeting, Dr. Agustinus welcomed the phenomenon and expressed high appreciation. However, BSN KAN, as the institution that accredits laboratories, feels that educating the public about the role of laboratories, their duties, and functions has become one of their priorities.In addition to suggestions for improving laboratory service performance, Dr. Agustinus also encouraged all related parties to be more proactive and active in this educational effort, not only BSN KAN but also policyholders, associations, and other experts. BSN KAN is open to future collaboration.
