Bogor, February 11, 2025 – SIG welcomed a visit and coordination meeting from (BPPMHKP) the Agency for Research and Development of Marine and Fisheries Product Quality at Graha SIG, Bogor. This event aimed to strengthen collaboration in quality testing, safety, and standardization of marine and fishery products to support regulatory enforcement and enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market.

As a leading laboratory in Indonesia, SIG has long contributed to research and testing of various marine and fishery products using the latest technology. During this meeting, BPPMHKP discussed more accurate testing methods, the implementation of strict regulations in the food supply chain, and strategies for improving the quality of marine and fishery products.

SIG’s Technical Director, Mr. Adinugroho K.S., stated that this collaboration is expected to accelerate the harmonization of national standards with international standards. “Food and fishery product safety and quality are crucial in both domestic trade and exports. We are ready to support the industry with accurate and reliable testing services,” he said.

Woro Nur Endang Sariati, M.P., and the Acting Head of the Primary Production Quality Control Center, Siti Nurul Fahmi, S.Pi., M.Si. Dr. Ir. Woro Nur Endang Sariati, M.P. emphasized the importance of research in increasing the added value of fishery products. “We continuously strive to improve the efficiency and quality of testing to support the national fisheries industry. With the support of SIG, we are optimistic about developing more innovative methods to ensure the safety of Indonesian fishery products,” she said.
