Bogor, May 16, 2025 – PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech (SIG) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vocational education through active participation in the Industry Practitioner Lecture Program. On Friday, May 16, 2025, Nurul Haruningtyas, Supervisor of the Biotechnology Laboratory at PT SIG, served as a guest speaker in the Halal Analysis Practice course, held online by Politeknik AKA Bogor. This activity was aimed at second-year students of the Food Industry Quality Assurance (PMIP) Study Program, with the goal of enhancing their practical understanding of halal product analysis using a biotechnology-based approach.
In her presentation, Nurul Haruningtyas shared her professional experience and expertise in the field of halal analysis, including the application of biotechnology in detecting non-halal substances in food products such as pork and alcohol content. She also emphasized the importance of laboratory data integrity, accuracy in analytical methods, and the implementation of halal regulations in Indonesia.
SIG’s participation in this activity reflects a synergy between the industrial sector and higher vocational education, with the aim of producing graduates who are competent and ready to enter the workforce, particularly in the field of food quality assurance and safety based on halal principles. The Industry Practitioner Lecture Program itself is an initiative by Politeknik AKA Bogor that encourages active collaboration between industry professionals and higher education institutions, in order to bridge the gap between industry needs and academic curricula.
